HR Executive - Job Description
 
Head up the HR function for this growing SME.
 
A unique opportunity has arisen for an HR professional to join this growing Project Management & Manpower company as the first HR specialist within the business to run the HR function. Reporting into the Finance team & Country Manager, you will run the full spectrum of HR for this small business which is growing significantly. There are are processes in place, however, your responsibilities will be to develop, drive and implement HR initiatives further. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a start-up or hands on environment who is looking to become the HR Manager in an entrepreneurial environment.
 
Human Resources Job Duties:
 
Introducing and implementing of HR systems, projects, manuals, SOPs and other initiatives.
Maintain, manage and update staff records in HR System.
Recruiting of all positions including overseas placement.
Conducting of new hires orientation.
Maintaining of employees & personal, employment records and employees & personal file.
Assisting the Finance Team in Processing of monthly payroll and the submission of CPF.
Preparing and submitting IR8A & IR21 forms for employees.
Managing of all non-local visa matters.
Administering of employees & benefits entitlement such as annual leaves, childcare leaves and medical leaves.
Reviewing and renewing of company group insurance needs such as Work Injury Compensation, Foreign Medical Insurance and Hospitalization & Surgical.
Handling of employees insurance claims and work injury compensation matters.
Driving the yearly performance and salary review exercise.
Overseeing and developing the yearly training and development programmes for employees.
Organizing welfare activities and employees & engagement events.
Resolving the grievances and queries of employees.
Conducting exit interviews and managing the exit clearance of employees.
Developing appraisal system.
Developing questionnaires for interviewer.
 
Qualifications:
 
A Diploma/Degree in HRM/Business Administration or any other related field.
 
Requirements:
Advanced level of English both spokem and written.
Min 2 years of relevant experience.
Good understanding of local employment act and foreign manpower act including IR28 & IRAS. (Very Important)
Competent in processing of monthly payroll in compliance to all statutory law independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to facilitate discussions and meetings.
Ability to multi-task and willing to take on wider job portfolio for career development.
Required to be a team player who is committed and meticulous.
Self motivated, highly organized, able to work independently and under pressure.
Excellent with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment and to meet critical deadlines.
Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Able to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
Has an experience in Performance Appraisal.
