Document Controller Assistant - Job Description
 
This role will be directly reporting to our Finance team and & Project Administrator. You will be responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation directly related to payroll and update these documents in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain controlled documentation and correspondence to ensure a current up-to-date document control system.
  • Develop and maintain document control processes for the efficient management of payroll and recording of payroll documentation.
  • Assist in managing and controlling of confidential materials.
  • Involved in verifying, uploading and input of data into documents within the system.
  • Review and archive data.
  • Verify changed document for completeness and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ensure control of changes / updates in the document control system.
  • Ensure files proper documented and for easy retrieval from time to time.
  • Provide full administrative support to Payroll & Project Administration team.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior.
  • Requirements:
  • Min 1 years relevant experience in document control and record management ideally in a Project Management/Payroll environment.
  • Good knowledge in document control and management processes.
  • Experience in developing electronic filing and archive system and technical library for easy issuance, storage, retrieval and management of documents.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
